Mt. Yotei on a sunny autumn day.

The other day, while driving to Niseko, I was able to snap this great shot of Mt. Yotei! Usually when I head this way the mountain is half covered in clouds, but I think you'll agree that this was perfect weather for a photo.

The bottom of the mountain is still sporting autumn foliage, but the top is already covered in snow. It seems that winter will soon be upon Hokkaido!

For me though, anytime I can catch this kind of view during a drive is a great day!

P.S. Just so we're clear, this isn't Mt. Fuji, it's Mt. Yotei. Because Mt. Yotei looks a bit like Mt. Fuji, it is sometimes called "Ezo Fuji" here in Hokkaido. But they're pretty far away from each other.
