"Uryunuma Marsh"

Covering approximately eight square kilometers and at 850 meters above sea level, this is a great open area to explore and an important natural resource to preserve.

During the short summer season the whole area explodes in colorful flowers including the beautiful "Ezokanzou" (Botanical name : Hemerocallis dumortieri var. esculenta).

These flowers bloom from July to early August. There are walking paths provided to help visitors and protect the area.
