Nearest lift: Grand Hirafu Gondola

Voted as one of the best places to stay in the whole of Hokkaido by TripAdvisor guests in 2017, this cozy boutique hotel with impeccable service is worth traveling across the globe for.

Thanks to its location at the very top end of the village, Ki Niseko offers some of the most breathtaking views towards the famous volcano Mount Yotei. Hotel’s interior gives a warm homely feel with design that seamlessly blends modern alpine charm with Japanese sophistication. One of the highlights at Ki Niseko is An Dining restaurant located on the ground floor. Serving an indulgent breakfast spread for hotel guests in the morning and casual a-la carte menu at lunch, the restaurant transforms completely into a fine dining venue by night. The dinner course menu is a fusion of Japanese and international techniques and flavors with a focus on the freshest and highest quality Hokkaido ingredients accompanied by a wine list that is quite possibly one of the most exquisite in the village. Be sure to reserve your table way ahead of time, as An Dining tends to be fully booked most of the evenings during the season.

The latest addition to the list of resort's premium accommodations, AYA Niseko was open in December 2016 and quickly established itself as one of the most popular hotels in Hirafu for it’s impeccable ski-in ski-out location just outside the ACE Family Lift in central village.

THE HILTON NISEKO VILLAGE

THE HILTON NISEKO VILLAGE
THE HILTON NISEKO VILLAGE
Location: Niseko Village / Annupuri
Nearest lift: Niseko Gondola

Niseko’s only full-scale hotel is a 499 rooms 20-storey high tower that is a destination of its own tucked away in Higashiyama Onsen area about 20 minutes drive from The Grand Hirafu Resort.

The Hilton Niseko Village building was originally a Prince Hotel, constructed during Japan’s ski boom in 1982. When Hilton Hotels took over operations they extensively refurbished all rooms and facilities in 2008. There are quite a few dining options within the hotel and you’ll have a choice of almost everything from cafe food to fine dining, sushi, teppanyaki, steak house and even a pub.

A big draw for the guests staying at the hotel is the variety of kids friendly activities on offer from snow playground to adventure park and even reindeer sledding, making it the perfect family getaway destination.

Although Hilton Niseko Village is located in a different area from where most of the action in Niseko happens, it’s a part of Niseko United Resort and since all of the trails are connected, you can ski across to any other resort area including Grand Hirafu from the top of the mountain provided that the weather cooperates. There is also a complimentary shuttle to Grand Hirafu available for those who are looking for a night out on the town, as opposed to an epic ski adventure.
